Photorejuvenation
IPL photorejuvenation is a treatment that uses light to stimulate the skin to regenerate.
The pulses penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production and reducing pigmentation and vascular imperfections.
For whom?
For skin with the first signs of aging, wrinkles and loss of firmness, with dilated pores, uneven skin tone or hyperpigmentation.
Effects of treatment:

- even skin tone and brightening
- The effect of a “fresher, younger complexion”
Contraindications:
- pregnancy, breastfeeding
- epilepsy
- Cancer (up to 5 years after the end of treatment)
- vitiligo
- skin diseases (blistering, psoriasis, AD)
- photodermatoses
- active inflammation (wounds, herpes, erosions)
- Viral, bacterial, fungal infections
- autoimmune diseases
- unregulated chronic diseases (e.g. hypertension, diabetes)
- tendency to scarring/keloids
- Implants (pacemaker, insulin pump, cochlear implant) and metal in the area of the procedure
Temporary contraindications / require an interval:
- Fresh tan (min. 4-6 weeks), self-tanner
- (2 wks.)
- vaccinations (2 weeks)
- Antibiotic therapy (2 weeks).
- Oral retinoids (up to 6 months after termination)
- Retinol/retinoid creams (discontinue 4 weeks).
- peels/acids (leave off at least 7 days)
- Light-sensitizing drugs and herbs (e.g., St. John’s wort, calendula, horsetail, nettle, SSRIs, tetracyclines)-put off 2tyg.
- Anti-inflammatory drugs (leave 7 days)
- aesthetic treatments: botox (3months), hyaluronic acid/stimulants (8week).
